I am fond of Palm Springs because I love mid-century everything. It reminds me of Frank Sinatra, Herman Miller furniture, and beautiful pools with fancy cocktails. We took my father here for Father’s Day weekend and it was scorching hot at 110 degrees. But it was hot dry and not humid, so thankfully, my hair was fine. 😛
What to do, where to eat
We enjoyed a very solid dinner at Jake’s Restaurant, a nice Sunday at the Palm Springs Air Museum and spotted Obama’s Air Force One at the airport.
I highly recommend Palm Springs for every occasion.
