We planned and organized this special ALL-INCLUSIVE package for the adventurers who want to discover the south but have limited paid time off (you know who you are). Once you figure out the eating costs in Reykjavik, you know you're getting a good deal here. Because ALL activities, meals, and local transportation are INCLUDED here. Oh yes, glaciers, craft beers, and hot tubs too. 🙌
✓ Experience a super jeep adventure in Þórsmörk, the Valley of the Thunder God Thor.
✓ Witness the magical Northern lights while chilling in a roof top hot tub.
✓ Discover amazing and breathtaking south coast sites such as Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara the black sand beach and Dyrhólaey island.
✓ Ice-walk at Sólheimajökull Glacier.
✓ Accommodations filled with local people and good vibes. Comfortable beds and fun decor. Delicious food, locally brewed beer at the bar, ping pong table, and did we mention a rooftop hot tub to check out for the Northern lights?! 😍
At the airport you will be welcomed by a local who will take you through the Reykjanes Peninsula and the south where you will be spending the next few days. Local cuisine lunch provided. Depending on your time of arrival, you will stop by a few places to give you a general idea of what Iceland is all about. If there are clear skies and the Northern Lights forecast looks promising, you'll pack your bags and go searching for them (this applies for all the remaining nights if the weather is good). Don't forget to bring your bathing suit so you can relax in the rooftop hot tub and wait for the Northern Lights to arrive. Dinner provided. Overnight stay.
After a nice breakfast, you'll head out towards the south coast to check out the sights, Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara the black sand beach and Dyrhólaey island. On the way you will also visit the Sólheimajökull outlet glacier to witness the affects of climate change. Then you'll fasten your provided crampons and take a short hike on the glacier. Yes, on the glacier. How cool is that (pun intended). ❄️ Lunch provided. If time allows it, you might head to Vik. Back at your accommodations, we highly recommend visiting the local swimming pool (the water is warm). Also, enjoy their hot tubs and sauna. According to the locals, visiting the outdoor swimming pools is quite Icelandic. Or you can relax in the roof hot tub and sauna at your accommodations. Dinner provided. Overnight stay.
Again after a nice breakfast, you'll hike to the volcano Eyjafjallajökull, the one that erupted in 2010 and the Þórsmörk area. Þórsmörk was made during the eruptions, underneath the glaciers, which makes it a mystical landscape. You'll stop by the outlet glacier Gígjökull which erupted in 2010. When in Þórsmörk, depending on the group’s pace, you might take a shorter hike. Lunch provided. This night you can visit the swimming pool or a Lava Center. Dinner provided. Overnight stay.
We allow the last day to be open and flexible. Depending on the weather, you might hike to Reykjadalur, the Golden Circle, or the Þjórsárdalur Valley. Regardless of the activity, we promise an epic day.👌 Breakfast and lunch provided. At the end of this day, we'll take you to the airport or Reykjavík.
