You came to Greenland to be adventurous, right? So of course we have the perfect summer time adventure itinerary for you – hiking and kayaking. Oh yeah, you’ll also be meeting and supporting locals, too.
DAY 1 – HIKING
On the first day, accompanied by your local guide, you will hike through the fauna, flora, and hear stories of this untouched landscape – a bay full of blue icebergs, rivers of migrating fish , Arctic flowers in the middle of tundra fields, and rocks polished by glaciers. Once in Oqaatsut, you’ll settle down in one of the rooms, have a traditional dinner, with free time to walk around the settlement.
DAY 2 – KAYAKING + MEETING LOCALS
Next day, after breakfast, you will go out kayaking. Our experienced and certified kayaking guides, modern equipment, and safety protocols will make it easy breezy for you to kayak in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Oqaatsut.
After kayaking, you’ll visit a family of the settlement and enjoy a traditional lunch made with local ingredients. After your meal, you’ll head back by boat to Ilulissat.
