WHAT IS NOMOON?
Nomoon is a travel company founded by passionate travelers who believe in sustainable travel, culture, and community. We don't believe in mass tourism. We believe in private "real" experiences with locals, mom-and-pop businesses, and local communities. In essence, we believe cool travelers deserve cool things.
BUT REALLY, HOW DID YOU GET THE NAME?
Our founder is a huge Star Wars fan and was inspired by the dialogue between Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker on the Millennium Falcon in Episode IV: "That's no moon, it's a space station." 👩🏻🚀
WHY SHOULD I BOOK NOMOON TOURS OR USE NOMOON CONSULTATION SERVICES?
Unlike other tour agencies or online travel platforms, we experienced our tours and itineraries first-hand and worked closely with tourism boards and tour operators. We also provide you with phenomenal customer service. We are super confident that you will enjoy every detail and effort in our carefully crafted tours or itineraries. Rest assured you are in good hands and we care how you travel. You won't get that level of service from those other big (and generic) online booking platforms. Also, for every direct booking made, we donate to our charity partner, 1% for the Planet.
DO YOU ORGANIZE PRIVATE GROUP TRIPS?

DO YOU GO ON THE TOURS WITH US?
Surprisingly, we get this question A LOT. We travel the world to find the best travel experiences for you, but we do not go on the tours. ☺️
DO YOU OFFER OTHER DESTINATIONS NOT ON THE WEBSITE?
YES. 💁🏻If you can't find it on our website, we can create a custom itinerary ANYWHERE, tailored specifically for you, with our trusted travel suppliers, partners, and vendors at other destinations. See more info here.
DOES YOUR TRAVEL INCLUDE TRAVEL INSURANCE?
No, you are responsible for purchasing your own travel insurance. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. You can work with our travel insurance partner, Allianz Global Assistance Travel Insurance, to find the best travel insurance plan for you.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
We strongly advise booking as early as possible. Our destinations are highly sought after - the sooner, the better. Sign up for our newsletter for updates and travel news.
WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICY FOR TRAVEL?
For one-day tours, the full balance is needed to confirm your booking and is non-refundable.
For multi-day tours and consultation services, a 50% deposit is needed and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 15 days before departure.
If you cancel your trip, of course we will be sad - you’re missing an amazing experience!
