WHAT IS NOMOON?
Nomoon is a travel company founded by passionate travelers who believe in sustainable travel, culture, and community. We don't believe in mass tourism - which includes massive resorts, crowded buses, or mandatory souvenir stops. We believe in private or small-group "real" experiences with locals, mom-and-pop businesses, and local communities. In essence, we believe cool travelers deserve cool things.
Bonus Answer: Our founder is a huge Star Wars fan and was inspired by the dialogue between Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker on the Millennium Falcon in Episode IV: "That's no moon, it's a space station." 👩🏻🚀
DO YOU GO ON THE TOURS WITH US?
Surprisingly, we get this question A LOT. We travel the world to find the best travel experiences for you, but we do not go on the tours.☺️
WHY SHOULD I BOOK MY TRAVEL WITH NOMOON?
Unlike other tour agencies or online travel platforms, we experienced all of our tours first-hand and will provide you with phenomenal customer service. We are super confident that you will enjoy every detail and effort in our carefully crafted tours. Rest assured you are in good hands and we care how you travel. You won't get that level of service from those other big (and generic) online booking platforms. Also, for every direct booking made, we donate to our charity partner, 1% for the Planet.
DOES YOUR TRAVEL INCLUDE AIRFARE?
No. You are responsible for purchasing your own airfare to the travel destination. From our personal experiences, this makes it easier for everyone, especially for those who wish to use their mileage points, extend their stays, etc.
If you want us to take care of the airfare, we charge a service fee of $25 (domestic) or $50 (international) per person.
We also work with several airlines, including Iceland Air and Norwegian Airlines to help you purchase and plan your holiday with us. Please inquire.
CAN YOU ORGANIZE PRIVATE GROUP TRIPS?

DO YOU CUSTOMIZE TRAVEL TO OTHER DESTINATIONS NOT OFFERED ON WEBSITE?
YES. 💁🏻If you can't find it on our website, we can create a custom itinerary, tailored specifically for you, with our trusted travel suppliers, partners, and vendors at other destinations. See more info here.

Our products are designed and made for modern travelers who care about design, functionality, and sustainability. We’re proud to work with local artisans to provide travel essentials that stand up to the rigors of planes, trains, taxis, and tuk tuks. Our suppliers are fair and transparent to us and their employees.
DO YOU SHIP YOUR PRODUCTS INTERNATIONALLY?
Not at this time, no. We currently ship within the United States only.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY FOR PRODUCTS?
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are unsatisfied for any reason or prefer another size or color, you can return the items in its original condition within 10 days of your purchase. Boom, done.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY DETAILS
- Items must be returned within 10 days
- Items must be returned in their original packaging, including hang tags, dust bags, and gift boxes when applicable
- Items must not be worn, altered or damaged
- Eligible returns will be credited to your original form of tender or a gift card (gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law).
WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICY FOR TRAVEL?
For multi-day tours, a 50% deposit is needed to confirm your booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure.
If you cancel your trip, of course we will be sad - you’re missing an amazing experience! We will not be able to return your deposit. We will not be able to return the remaining balance if you cancel within 30 days before the departure date.
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. You can work with our travel insurance partner, Allianz Global Assistance Travel Insurance, to find the best travel insurance plan for you.

ARE YOU A LEGIT SELLER OF TRAVEL?
Be assured we are legally compliant and registered with the Attorney General's Seller of Travel Program, a participant of the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation, and an accredited travel agency with the CCRA (travel commerce network).
