frequently asked questions

What is a Nomoon Special Edition?

A Special Edition starts with an idea rather than a standard route. The result is a trip with a clear point of view and the same attention to hotels, food, place and pace as every Nomoon journey.

Are Special Editions private journeys?

Yes. Each Edition can be arranged as a private journey for you and the people you choose to travel with. Select concepts may also be offered as small group departures.

Can an Edition be personalized?

Yes. We adapt the pace, hotels, experiences and level of access around your preferences while preserving the central idea that makes the journey distinct.

How is wellness incorporated?

Wellness is a restorative layer rather than the theme of the trip. Depending on the destination, it might include an onsen, spa treatment, time in nature or a deliberately slower day between more immersive experiences.

What does mostly all inclusive mean?

Most accommodations, private ground transportation, planned experiences, expert guides and many meals are included. Flights and personal expenses are not included. Your proposal will clearly identify everything included in your journey.

What level of investment should I expect?

Nomoon journeys typically begin around $1,000 per person, per night and are mostly all inclusive, excluding flights. The final investment depends on the destination, season, accommodations and level of access.

How far in advance should I begin planning?

We recommend starting several months in advance. More time gives us greater access to distinctive hotels, specialist guides and experiences with limited availability.
